• Let the Wax Pool: Allow the top layer of wax to melt and pool to the edges to avoid tunneling. This ensures an even burn and maximizes the candle's fragrance release.
• Trim the Wick: Before each burn, trim the wick to ¼ inch. Long or crooked wicks can cause uneven burning, dripping, or flaring.
• Burn Time: Do not burn a candle for more than 4 hours at a time. After 4 hours, allow the candle to cool for 2 hours before relighting.
• Keep It Clean: Ensure the wax pool is free from wick trimmings, matches, or any other flammable materials.
• Candle Storage: Store candles in a cool, dark, and dry place. Avoid direct sunlight.
• Avoid Drafts: Do not burn candles in drafty areas, as this can cause uneven burning, smoking, and diminished burn time.
• Candle Placement: Ensure candles are placed on a stable, heat-resistant surface. This helps prevent heat damage to underlying surfaces and prevents glass containers from breaking.
